YEAR OF JUBILEE! What a wonderful start to our year of Jubilee! We had such a wonderful time at our Home Coming and on “Roll Call Sunday!” I want to express my special thanks to Bro. Jonathan, the staff and Anniversary Committee who worked so hard to help us have such a blessed time! Also, I want to thank all the wonderful folks who “came home” for these special events! You presence made these events all the more special. We are offering a few Anniversary items to help commemorate our Jubilee. One of these items is a genuine leather, ultra-slim, reference, New King James Bible. We have them is black and burgundy and each is embossed with our anniversary logo. This will make a wonderful memento and the cost is $35! We only have 50 at this time so be on the look out for them and get yours soon. We will soon be pre-ordering coffee mugs, ball caps and other items that you told us you would be interested in having as a memento.
Gastley Retirement. Just a note of reminder that you need to RSVP for our luncheon on the 24th of August! We will have a great time of celebrating God’s blessing to us through Bro. Bobby and LaRue! You will not want to miss this day – so please call the office, send us a card or email and let us know of your plans to attend! After the service that morning we will have a fried chicken luncheon with the different Sunday School Departments providing the side dishes and desserts. There is no set charge for the lunch – but please make your reservations as early as possible.
JUBILEE CRUISE! If you are interested in the Hawaiian cruise next June 13-20, 2009 you need to make your deposit by July 6th! This deposit can be returned as late as next April – so if you think you want to go Bro. Bobby needs to hear from you right away!
REMODELIING THE FACILITIES! God is doing a great work here at North Peachtree Baptist Church! We are so blessed through the faithful and generous giving of our people and God’s faithful and generous giving to our folks! With just under a million dollars given in May we are able to upgrade our facilities with out going into debt! We are meeting with our workers, parents, architects and contractors as we move towards our remodel of the Preschool and Children’s building! New play grounds and updated facilities are an exciting prospect for our ability to reach children and young families with the gospel and for North Peachtree. Please continue to pray for these important events and all those involved with the process! Remember . . .
