Personal:
*Born in Cherokee, Alabama – June 13, 1959
*Married to Nancy Sue (Herbold) Romans – August 16, 1980
*Three children: Jordan (Daughter) 23 years old , Luke (Son) 22 years old, Levi (Son) 21 years old
*Two Grandsons and one Granddaughter!
*Accepted Christ as Savior at age 13, and was baptized in Harris Chapel Baptist Church at
Cherokee, Alabama.
*Surrendered to preached, was licensed and ordained to the Gospel Ministry at the Salem Sayers Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas.
*Veteran - US Air Force – 6 years
Education:
*BA Degree from Criswell College Dallas, Texas.
*Masters Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas.
*Doctorate of Ministry from Covington Theological Seminary, Rossville, Georgia
*Also studied at Dallas Baptist University and Beeson Divinity School and worked towards a second Doctorate of Education at the University of Tennessee.
Ministry Experience:
*Pastored Southern Baptist Churches in Oklahoma, Alabama, Texas and Georgia.
*Served on staff of Southern Baptist Churches as Executive Pastor, Associate Pastor, Minister of Education, Administrator and Headmaster.
*Preached revivals in Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, Tennessee and Arkansas.
*Served in denominational positions at the state and local association levels.
*Served as Camp Pastor and Bible Teacher at RA and GA camps.
*Currently serves as Senior Pastor of North Peachtree Baptist Church in Atlanta Georgia.
